This Shipibo Plant Medicine retreat is a deep dive into embodied experience guided by nature, the elements and the world of the plants. This 7 Night inclusive plant medicine retreat (4 Ceremonies) interweaves ritual, embodied movement, breathwork and creative expression for an unforgettable journey of transformation. You will be supported to shed unneeded belief patterns and connect to the free and joyful expression of your essence.
We have the honor to be supported by renowned Shipibo healers Maestro Segundo and his wife Maestra Teolinda and their apprentice son Jeyny Alexsander. The maestros have spent this last year going deeply into their own study - dieting and investigating deeply into the wisdom of the plants in ceremony. They have emerged from this time period with incredible strength and insight, excited to support you in this deep healing journey!
Classes and daytime sessions aim to support and inform the work in ceremony and create a deeper connection to the energetic realms of the plants, and the Shipibo culture. This retreat aims to support you to free your authentic expression, nourish joyful creativity and learn to connect to the elements to create health, harmony and balance in your daily life.

Our setting is Reunion, a non profit healing center dedicated to the preservation of plant medicine and ancestral wisdom. Nestled on Playa Pan de Azúcar (Sugar Beach) in the northern part of Guanacaste (Chorotega Nation Land), Reunion is only a few steps from the sandy shore of the Pacific Ocean in the most desirable tropical beach district in all of Costa Rica.
This transformative experience is meant to awaken the best of the human spirit — so that we may offer our wise selves to our communities at home.
With nature as our guide and with deep reverence for the ancient teachings and the elders we are so privileged to learn from - together we tap into powerful wisdom and create space to become fully present.

MAESTRO SEGUNDO
VEGETALISTA ELDER
Born in the community of San Francisco a father of 3 Maestro Segundo learned the way to the medicine as he was a young kid, at the age of 25 he was ready to share this with others, he practiced for 5 years in his community to be able to share this with whomever else the medicine of Ayahuasca sent. Maestro Segundo is known as a healer of 32 years of experience thanks to his grandfather who passed on this knowledge to him. The usage of each plant medicine and the master plants how to cure different illness for others and also one self. He believes the medicine can bring healing to a lot of people in the world as more sickness emerges in our current times.
MAESTRA TEOLINDA
VEGETALISTA ELDER
Native of the Irazola community near the Pisqui River, Teolinda is a mother of 3 and also a vegetalista and curandera (healer). She learned when she 32 years of age to work with the Master Plant of Ayahuasca and now has been cultivating a relationship with this energy for 25 years where she has served her community and passengers as she calls them to a journey that can change their lives. She was an apprentice by observation and participation through the teachings of her father and grandfather who both were curanderos in their village.
INDIA MAYORGA
India became a student of NLP, psychotherapy, counseling and channelling to heal her inner wounds and energetic ancestral blockages while graduating as a Business Major to meet the demands of the family interests. Nevertheless, her passion for healing led her to facilitate Inner child regression psychoanalysis therapy sessions for her clients towards new insights into their power given directly by divine light codes of I AM. Currently she holds a Masters degree as a Holistic Psychotherapist.
She is known as a Channeller of Mother Nature, a Guide and Facilitator /Therapist with the psilocybin medicine as a way to bring back the ancestral knowledge that was left by various sages and wisdom keepers. A Producer of magical settings and a Bridge to indigenous communities with her work in Movimiento Ancestral, India has found her ¨why¨- through guiding others in their journey towards remembering and freedom.
KARINA
Karina is a certified and trauma informed holistic health, transformation and integration guide with a focus on plant medicine. She specializes in somatic guidance and embodiment practices. She is the founder of the wellness platform Sovereign by Nature & non-profit The ARC based in Costa Rica, natural plant medicine brand Root to Ritual and sacred container for womxn The Sacred Session.
She has studied with and is a Bridge for wisdom keepers, elders and teachers from many different lineages. She remains in service to plant medicine and is an advocate for indigenous rights.
Karina holds space from a place of non-judgement, she creates a divine container where others can shed, remember, integrate and grow. She believes that through deep understanding, reverence and unconditional love for the self we fuel present awareness and sovereignty. Through conscious action we improve our lives and relationships.

By using framework to view our personal work through playful intelligence we are rewiring our social patterns and behaviors- we are learning to shed layers of cultural and ancestral conditioning stored deep within our bones. We are reprogramming our mind into a fierce ally. Empowerment at it's truest level- Integrity in it's purist form.

HOW TO BOOK
- To hold your space a $500 deposit is needed per person. You can select your dates and room type by clicking the DATE LINKS BELOW. Please note all rooms are the same - your choice is either single or double occupancy in a room with two queen beds.
-Once you submit your dates and room preference a confirmation email will be sent to you with further details. Deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.

- Airport: You will fly into LIBERIA CR. The Reunion shared shuttle is included in your price. The center is located 1 hour from the airport
